I appreciated the little touches in the room, like the complimentary bottled water and the iron/ironing board, making my stay even more convenient. The bathroom was well stocked with complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer, ensuring I had everything I needed to freshen up after a day at the beach.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the bathtubs or showers in the bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others may still enjoy them!

No secure outside space for pets, which was inconvenient. A hairdryer would have been a nice addition.

The boathouse itself was beautifully decorated with a sea theme, showcasing the love and care put into maintaining its 200-year-old heritage. The comfortable bed, well-equipped bathroom, and thoughtful amenities made my stay extremely enjoyable. One small drawback was the lack of a hairdryer, but it didn't detract from my overall experience. I highly recommend this cozy cottage for a relaxing getaway on the Lough shore. I had a wonderful time and would definitely return in the future.
